Goodnight January

YEEEEEY AT LAST! A new skin for my blog thanks to ~blogskins.com hahaha. I was too lazy to do codes so I just downloaded a skin from that site. Do check it out, it has a lot of nice skins for blogger too bad the skins there don't support tumblr or I am just dumb and don't know how to modify codes from blogskins to fit in tumblr :)). Like my skin? like my skin? I do like it so much... my blog looks so "hey-im-a-sophisticated-blogger" type of thaaang. Well the only flaw in this skin is that the comments aren't working, I am still currently working on it.  I changed again my layout because the comments thing acted like a bitch so I changed again the layout, I can't find the code for the comments to work on the classic template so I updated my blogger again to the new template style... wasted effort was wasted. I just edited the layout close to the one that I downloaded earlier. Anyway I downloaded the blogger app on my phone so I don't have an excuse not to blog to be lazy hehehe.

And now I'll share to you guys my January Haul. ~~ But before that I want to show my face first hehehe.
Trying to look cute hahaha

A weeeeek

I don't know how will I start this entry, I feel awkward and have been cmd+a and delete all the things that I have written before this one. lol hahahah Its been a quiet week for me here down south, I went here for freelance purposes and also for the stable internet we have here hahahaha, which we don't have  at our other house. Anyway I have been thinking lately about how will I sell my "cute" unisex size shirts. I have problems with myself about the shipping and all I am thinking of doing it by meetups/pickups at our stores and have kaliwaan deal. I posted an ad about it on sulit.com and I have received a private message from a non sulit member, he/she said that he wants to buy ___ pcs from me and will pay thru paypal. I was not like "ogrhthonbvfoe wooow nigeituhgiuethguhvhv" but I was like "is this true?" I emailed him quite a number of times and my parents said not to deal with it nalang because it might be bogus. My online shop is sleeping and I don't know when it will wake up again. I am planning of selling my products to online sellers... if anyone is interested you can email me.

The FUN part. I have a haul... I like hauls, just because... lol anyway I'll show you now...

I was inspired by Clothesencounter's idea about thrifting, buying clothes from the men's section and hey its not a bad idea! I saw this flannel for $2, its made of wool and I like the way its oversized, literally its men's XL! Btw, Its a long sleeves polo and I cut the sleeves to make it a vest.

Moving on... I bought a sling bag from Kids of Bayo, because my favorite (slightly big)Topshop hand/sling bag (next to my [RIP] brown Adidas bag) is kinda start to wear-out already due to everyday usage. I originally want a satchel where my-chan (my dslr) could fit but all satchels that I see don't have zippers and I am not fond of using bags without zippers because I commute and bags without zippers are a key to thieves. Sooooo, I bought this cute bag, originally its $17.00 but I got it for around $8.00, yeeey!!!

Its been a long time since I bought a gel liner, and its quite sometime too that I want to try and buy a gel liner but I have this love/hate relationship about gel liners because I had this SUCKY gel liner from The Face Shop and I just used it for like 2-3 times and it became ROCK SOLID, unusable, useless and all the other negative adjectives. I tried to save it by melting it with heat gun, soaking it to boiling water, put eye drops and etc. etc. ways to save it and non of it worked... Anyway, I bought a gel liner from my 1st love makeup brand Bloom. I bought it for $8.53, not bad, not bad.. and its really not bad! It doesn't smudge, it stays for a long time and for me its quite waterproof. It also comes with an eyeliner brush....

The haul is done, I would like to share to you a DIY that I did... its a crown of flowers, girly I know!
It took me 3 bouquets of beautiful fake flowers... I have a big head lol hahaha :))

Basically that's it... I hope you like this "post" hahaha lol... hype my latest look on lookbook if you like hahaha shameless plugging lol. AND ALSO... I'm open for link exchange... drop a comment if interested

Of making things...

For the past few days I did a D.I.Y. and restorations. You know, its kinda fulfilling if you have done something by yourself and it also adds +plus+plus+sentimental value to the item and also doing D.I.Y can make your skill up 1 level just like in the game of Sims...

Restoration #1:  Restoring an old, unusable nailpolish
Most of us (maybe) use acetone to fix stubborn nail polishes but its not the proper ingredient to add to nail polishes because it ruins the polish even more so I lurked around youtube and they say that if you want to save your favorite nail polish you've gotta use a "nail polish thinner" something like that... so yeah... I went to the supermarket and look for one -- and I bought this Caronia Solvent for Php30. In this 15ml bottle I saved 8 nail polishes... whooo happy kid is happy. I am so hyped when I saw that it softened my eight stubborn nail polishes. :)

Last April I went to Quiapo to satisfy myself by camera/film window shopping at Hidalgo. And out of curiosity I went to the next street because the street has full of DIY-ness and tried my luck to see some gems and studs because I want to deco-den my phone (lol gyaru much?) but failed BUT BUT BUT!!! I saw this chain its about a yard and I bought it for Php 20... ok no? :) The reason why I bought it because I want to turn the bow that Kaila gave me as a necklace... anyway for a yard I can make 2 necklaces...
Rainbowholic Bow :)
I got sad when the red heart at the center fell off and I just noticed it when its already gone :(
Restoration #2: A pocket watch
Anyway back to the restoration part... I saw this pocket watch when I cleaned my clutter at the storage area of our house and had this idea to turn it into a necklace... so pretty :)

D.I.Y.: Detachable Collar
I took the advice from Chriselle Lim's tutorial about detachable collars :) So, I bought a blouse from a thrift store... cut the collar part and there... you have your detachable collar. SO EASY, lavvet!! :) I just spent Php100 for 3 pieces of blouses... Detachable collars are usually expensive (its around Php 250 pesos...) I also added a belt of sequins to spice it up :)

Anyone wants to exchange links?? :)

A day full of...

Yesterday was father's day, so my family and I went to the Mall of Asia to spend quality time and also to visit Uniqlo. When we were at the area where Uniqlo is... we're very surprised because there was a really long line (and the setup is like riding a ride on a themepark hahaha), lots of guards and bouncers LOL. hahahah :)) My parents said that we'll go back there on an ordinary day because even if their price is not Php 590 anymore its still reasonable... like come on a pair of pants for Php 990(regular price correct me if I'm wrong) -- its good already. Other shops even local shops sell pair of pants for like more than a thousand (regular price).

Anyway, I love my look yesterday. I am happy that I manage to wore falsies yesterday without feeling any weirdness. I now have the confidence to wear falsies outside the house...because I only wear falsies when I do practice putting on make-up. Shopping for falsies is quite addictive too... my collection is now growing...
The day's look.

Ano balak mo sa buhay?

Last Sunday, I went to SMX with my friend Karen to attend the last leg of Philippine Fashion Week. We went there just because of Allison Harvard! We may not have a picture with her but maaaaaan, we saw her in flesh!!! GRABE!!! SHE'S SO PRETTY, BEAUTIFUL, CUTE, aaaaand ummm PERFECT!!! Although, Karen and I's happiness were not really fulfilled because we didn't have a chance to have a picture with her. AAAAHHH I'm still jelly at the other people who are so lucky... My hype for Alli is still not yet over tho its almost a week since I saw her.
I grabbed this instagram photo from karen hahaha
Its so hard to take photos inside because of the thick crowd. Sometimes I think of wanting to have a point and shoot just for events like this.

MOVING ON... I think I am breaking my promise to myself to regularly update this blog, because my family stays more often in Pasig now and things that are happening there are pretty plain. Wake, go to our store, go home or wake up, go to our store, go home, and then go back to our store. (hmmm I'll cut this paragraph abruptly, haha!!!)

I miss my boyfriend and friends also, I still can't believe that school life is over and off to Job hunting. Last night, I applied to some companies already, mejo nakakaadik rin pala mag apply apply online hhahahaha!! tas, my mama asked me... "Anak, ano balak mo sa buhay?" I answered I want to gain weight then work... and fix my sleeping store. I am actually sad about my store because of the long hiatus it had... I lose interest already... I am thinking of closing it and selling my remaining stocks to online sellers... but I am still not sure about it.

That's all for now... I am already out of words... I hope I can update this with a more interesting post.

Haul: Post-birthday and Holy Week

I have been shopping a bit lately. Working hard and earning money is fun and rewarding. Its nice to feel that you can buy the stuff you want with your own money. With the money i had, i made a list of stuff that I want to buy, clothes are on the list but my parents forbid me to buy clothes because they said that I have too many now and should buy other stuff.
